WANTED: DRIVERS and SAILORS |
|
| GOLF OUTING On June 9th, you will have the opportunity to test your driving, and putting skills at the Burden Lake Country Club. Dick Stewart has made the arrangements for us to have the first annual Mo-Hud golf outing there. This will be a fun, no pressure outing with a rare appearance of Mr. Harry Adalian on the golf course; his golfing skills will amaze you! We will be teeing off at 1:30, with food being served at the turn (after the 1st 9 holes). The total cost including golf, cart, food, etc is $42.50. If you're unable to join us at 1:30 Dick has made arrangements for people to play the 2nd nine holes starting around 4pm? Hope you can join us, we will have a longest drive hole if there any of you that feel the need to Blast one for show. Directions I'm giving you general directions, and depending on where you're coming from you may find a better route. From Rensselaer take route 20 east to Nassau, turn left onto route 15 which will take you to Burden Lake, take a right onto route 18 for a short distance and then a left onto Totem Lodge Rd and you will see the golf course on the right. The Important Stuff Please call or e-mail me ASAP if you're interested in coming. Thanks Pete Smith 518-587-9755 dsmith3@nycap.rr.com |

| HUDSON RIVER CRUSE By a majority vote, every one at the last meeting decided we should have a dinner cruise on the Hudson instead of Lake George so here we go. On July 20th you will have the opportunity to share your motor sports tales (lies), with others on the Hudson River. We'll be having a Dinner Cruise on the Dutch Apple, which leaves from Albany (under the overpass, next to the U-Haul building with the Truck on top just north of the port of Albany). The boat leaves at 7pm and returns at 10pm, there will be a buffet dinner served with a cash bar, and the cost is $35 per person. This has been a fun event when we've done it in the past, so sign up and enjoy a nice evening on the Hudson. There is a web site if you want to learn more about the Dutch Apple Cruises. I need to know who will be attending, so please don't wait until the last minute. 518-587-9755 dsmith3@nycap.rr.com |
