Mini-Convention Update

Since we last sent you an email about the upcoming Mini-Convention (November 11-13 in Allentown, PA), there have been a few changes and more specific details finalized.

Reservations at The Crowne Plaza (610-433-2221) will remain at $79 through October 20 to coincide with the Convention Registration cut-off.

Entertainment has been confirmed for both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Commitments have been confirmed with National staff – Terry Ozment, the Director of Club Racing, and members of her staff will be joining us.

The seminars will include (Others may still be added):

1. An introduction to Critical Incident Response – excellent training for anyone in any motorsports program.

2. A continuation (making it a full day) of Critical Incident Training – helping to develop team members and leaders in each program/venue. ** Let us know who will be attending this full day event. **

3. A full day of Solo seminars – great for those organizing events and those who are participants.

4. A full day of seminars designed for drivers – preparing cars to win within the rules, data acquisition and analysis, advanced driving techniques, and a session with Club Racing Board, Directors, and National staff.

5. Tech seminars including one on cc’ing engines.

6. An introduction to Time Trials.

7. A session on how to put on a Time Trials event.

8. An open session with the Stewards.

9. A Registration seminar touching on the fine points of On-Line Registration and Credit Card use.

10. A Timing & Scoring demonstration on the importing of AMB data to Excel for better results.

11. Discussions of Newsletters, Websites, Forums, and other fun computer-based membership services.

12. RallyCross Safety Steward Training and a discussion of event basics.
