MoHud will host a Test and Tune event the day after the Prospect Mtn event for the hardy members among us. Or perhaps the overly enthusiastic? Mentally deficient?
Whatever ... it will be Sunday Sept 9 at Seneca Army Depot. Directions can be found at http://www.flr-scca.com/solo/directions.html.
Cost will be $40 for SCCA Members, $50 for non-SCCA.
We will start as soon as possible, probably around 9:30 am.
You'll get alot of runs. We'll probably use a modified version of the Pro Solo course or the most recent FLR course. This will allow us to get set up more quickly, and the course will be less likely to be "green".
Please contact me at jim_garry at verizon.net to let me know you plan to participate. We'll most likely allow late comers to participate but you must let me know you plan to be there. There will be a cap of 25 entrants.

As other posts of mine indicate, my trans is in parts, and some of the parts are in parts for that matter, so at this point I'm not going anywhere that involves driving an autocross car. Unfortuantely I have also decided to bail on Nationals as I dont' like the timing I have left for getting parts, getting it back together, and getting myself ready. Next year I guess.

I'd love to go, after the pro solo event there, I really liked the site- however, I'll be missing the Prospect Mtn. event and this test 'n tune; my cousin's wedding is that Saturday and I'm quite sure I'll be non-functional on sunday.
And for those thinking of going- it's not _that_ far... and just think of all the times you've wanted to be able to 'practice'- well, here's your chance. |

E.J. seriously, give us a break- it aint that far.
Jim i sent u an e-mail with my intentions of going.
Not only will i run the beetle at prospect on saturday, then return to c.p. to load the scirocco and tow my ass to seneca on saturday night. Sounds like fun with a capital F to me. _________________ bush sucks dick cheney |

Says he who goes to Ayer for BMW events.
Hey Jim,
Can we test off the AutoX course, say maybe a little red car has a higher speed miss and needs to see if changes not quite finished yet actually work? Like driving towards the other end of the runway blah, blah blah _________________ DJ

I've got several good friends who I visit with while out at Devens, and they offer me free room and board to boot. So autocross is only half the reason I'm out there as often as I am.
Sorry, 1 day is going to be my limit that weekend. _________________ EJ Smith - SM 10

Went to a FLR test+tune at Seneca a few weeks ago, reg. price but ended up with only.. 9 runs? Would gladly pay 2x for 2x the time there, but can't.
An airport site closer to home would be sooo nice.... _________________ mini coop #44 sm |
