ENTRIES: The entry fee for this event is $399 for the same driver entering both regionals, $350 for any driver entering one of the regionals. The enclosed Entry, Medical & Timing slip and must be completed and returned with the entry or you may register online. Online registrants are confirmed once their check is received. Online registration is available by going to the NESSCA, NER or MoHud websites. A $50 late entry fee will be charged for entries not received by 5/10/07. A $30 fee will be charged for all returned checks. There is an additional $10 compliance fee for all SRF,FSCCA and SRSCCA cars, this fee must be paid for each regional. All NARRC and NYSRRC classes will be recognized. Phone entries are not accepted. Make Checks payable to MoHud, SCCA. Qualifying for Saturday mornings race (The John Stim Memorial) is Friday Morning, Qualifying for Saturday afternoons race (The Dave Riggi Memorial) is Friday afternoon. CREW: The entry fee paid to MoHud Region permits access to the track for one driver plus 3 crew. Only the driver or Crew Chief can add or change names on the crew list. Additional passes can be purchased from Lime Rock Personnel at Registration. Drivers are responsible for their crew. Minors/Minor Waivers: The minor waiver can only be signed by the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) and witnessed by a licensed SCCA registrar or Steward or it may be notarized. A new minor waiver must be completed annually. If a minor not your own will be accompanying you to the event and does not have access to a MS2A Minor Waiver form, a PDF version may be downloaded fromhhtp://www.scca.org/Filelibrary/File/minorreleaseform2.pdf. This form must be printed in color, signed by parent(s) or legal guardian(s) and witnessed by a SCCA Registrar, Steward or notarized. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult while in the paddock. Children must be kept under adult supervision at all times. CANCELLATIONS: The organizers reserve the right to cancel/postpone the event should circumstances beyond their control develop. When possible, all entrants will receive advance notice of such action with advice on refund arrangements. Drivers: All cancellations/withdrawals must be made in writing and postmarked no later than 10 days after the event. Any car that puts a wheel on the course is not eligible for a refund. CREDENTIALS: Drivers, Crew & Workers will be issued credentials at registration. Lost Credentials cannot be replaced. All participants (except those with temporary memberships) must wear their SCCA photo ID at all times. Photo IDs are available at registration. Entry fee includes cost of credentials for driver and three crewmembers. Credentials for additional over crew may be purchased from Lime Rock Park personnel at registration. Drivers are responsible for notifying their crew of the official hours of registration and are responsible for the behavior and actions of their crews at all times while at the event. Drivers and crewmembers not able to register during the posted times can gain access to the track by paying a non-refundable fee to the track and registering the next day during posted hours This event is open to all holders of the following licenses: SCCA National, SCCA Regional, SCCA Novice Permits with the School requirements completed, and SCCA Pro. In addition the event is open to SCCA members who hold the following licenses: BMWCCA Club Racing- Full competition, FIA, Ontario Region CASC. The holders of non SCCA licenses must surrender them at Registration- They will be returned following successful completion of the event. PADDOCK. Speed limit for all vehicles is 5MPH and all traffic directional signs must be obeyed. Traffic in the A paddock is One Way as posted. Traffic is the Sunoco paddock is two way. Any person operating any vehicle must operate that vehicle in a safe manner. Violations will be subject to action by the Chief Steward. To facilitate emergency access there will be no parking of vehicles on the paved roads of the paddock. NO SITTING OR RIDING ON THE EXTERIOR OF MOVING
VEHICLES. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult while in the paddocks. For their safety, please keep children under adult supervision at all times. Racing and Unleaded Fuel is available for sale in the west corner of
B Paddock. Water and Air are available in A Paddock on the B Paddock
side of the restaurant. Fluid wastes must be placed in approved Lime Rock Park disposal containers located at various
sites in the paddocks and NEVER
on the ground. INJURIES: To be eligible for medical benefits from the insurer, any Driver or Crew who sustains an injury (no
matter how small), must go to Race Medical. NARRC CLUB FORD, ITE, CFC, SPU &SPO these classes must conform to NARRC rules. These rules are available from your NARRC Regional Rep or the NARRC section of the NNJR website. NARRC Club Fords must use NCF for their Class designation, next to their numbers. Club FC must use CFC. SPEC NEON- Spec Neon rules may be obtained from Harry Adalian, Regional Spec Neon coordinator- Telephone 518-858-0208 SHOWROOM SPEC MIATA & SPEC MIATA SSM- Showroom Spec Miata cars must conform to the NeDiv SSM rules which are available at the NESSCA Website, SM – All SM must use Toyo Proxes RA-1 (205/50R15) SOUND CONTROL: Sound Control will be effect per the GCR. NO RACE ENGINES MAY BE STARTED BEFORE 10am on Friday, 9am on Saturday.. (Except to go to Grid). Race/unmuffled engines may be idled for the purpose of warm-up prior to the appropriate time.. Cars may be driven at idle speed to False Grid prior to start time. The “revving” of engines prior to the appropriate time is expressly forbidden and violators may be subject to immediate removal from the EVENT. At no times may engine noise be in violation of Lime Rock Park’s dB limits. All Race engines must be off by 6pm. SCRUTINEERING: All cars must have passed annual inspection. Drivers of vehicles, which have passed Annual inspection, who have helmets with valid 2007 inspection stickers, only need to present the logbook, the helmet and the tech sheet at Tech Inspection. Post Race Impound will be per the GCR plus any compliance checks the Chief Steward authorizes. CAR NUMBERS- All car numbers and class designations must be to GCR specifications. Any Non SCCA Sanctioning Body Logos or lettering, including class designations must be removed from the car or completely covered. Preferred NARRC & NYSRRC numbers lists will be used; in event of conflict first registered will receive number. TROPHIES:Trophies will be awarded per the GCR.. Unclaimed trophies will not be mailed Novice log books will be returned as soon as possible after results are official, depending upon the Stewards workload, bring a copy of the results to the tower. POINTS: Points will be awarded in both NARRC & NYSRRC for the John Stim Memorial Race, NYSRRC points will be awarded for both races. OVERSUBSCRIBED GROUPS: Every effort will be made to allow all entrants a chance to race. This means we may have to change race groups. It is possible that your class may be moved to an earlier race group, please plan accordingly. In the event that there are more than 38 cars entered in a group, the following procedure applies. Each car’s qualifying time is compare as a percentage of the leader’s time in that class. (Example: Your time is 65 seconds; the class leader has 60 seconds. The comparison is 65/60 x 100=108 %.) Cars with the highest percentages become alternates for the race, to the point where the field is filled. Cars beyond 120% may be excluded. In single class race groups, the fastest 38 will qualify. If possible there may be a non-points, non trophy consolation race for those that do not qualify which means we may have to change race groups. DRIVERS MEETINGS: The Chief Steward may have driver’s meeting(s) The Meeting(s) will be announced over the PA system. CONNECTICUT STATE LAWS: . State law requires flat-towed cars to have a License Plate. State officials may require rain tires on racecars if it rains. The area around the track is under strict State Police supervision.. WAVE OFF LAPS: All pace laps that are “waved off” will count towards the number of race laps. PITS/GRID: The working Pits/Grid is restricted to SCCA members who are at least 18 years of age. Personnel in these areas must be properly attired (closed toe shoes, sleeved shirts - No halter tops). Cars entering the Race Course (track) from Pit lane are to keep Drivers Right of the blend line painted on the track; drivers who fail to do this may be penalized. . TIMING & SCORING: A charged AMB Tranx260 transponder must be mounted on each car, with only one car registered for each transponder. It is the competitor’s responsibility to notify T&S of their transponder number by writing it on the T& S section of the entry form or by reporting to T&S in person. It is also the competitor’s responsibility that their transponder is charged sufficiently to be read by the AMB system. Non Official timing lights may not be within 30ft. of Start/Finish. Rental units may be available.. DOGS – Per GCR and track rules. . DOUBLE ENTRIES- If a car is legal in two different classes it may race in both classes as long as they are in different race groups. Class identification markings must be correct each time the car is on track. A separate entry must be filled out for each race.. Open fires are not allowed anywhere on Lime Rock Park grounds (except in approved camping areas) and must be in containers designed for that purpose. Small home grills, hibachis and small gas grills are permitted in the paddocks if operated at a safe distance from any flammable sources. LRP reserves the right to determine what a safe distance from flammable sources is and what is an acceptable grill or hibachi.. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the paddocks and pits fifteen (15) minutes after on-track activity has ceased and until 10:00 pm. The Chief Steward has responsibility for ensuring compliance with policies regarding alcohol and/or other intoxicants. The Chief Steward has the right to suspend driving privileges for any driver found to be out of compliance. Quiet time on Lime Rock Park grounds is between 10 pm and 7am. Weapons and fireworks are prohibited on Lime Rock Park property at all times. Persons under 18 years of age are not permitted in the hot pits or at corner stations.. Alcoholic beverages are permitted in the paddocks and pits fifteen (15) minutes after on-track activity has ceased and until 10:00 pm.
