The 2025 Solo Championship came to a close on October 19th, 2025
Many thanks to all of you who came out and made MoHud’s 2025 Solo season. We appreciate your continued participation in our program; without it, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love. We would like to also thank the good folks of Poughkeepsie Sports Car Club (PSCC) for helping us gain access to their Kingston venue.
The 2026 season is still a “TBA” affair, as we have no confirmed dates yet. We are hoping to get back to the old IBM Kingston lot, and we are also working to gain access to a new site in the Capital District. Please stay tuned as you’ll know details as soon as we know them. You can also join our Facebook group to monitor for news and events.
Due to price increases for temporary memberships by National, we have had to raise the price of the non-member entry fee. Our season will operate as follows:
- $50 for SCCA members, $75 for non-members (pricing is necessary due to expensive lot rental fees).
- Registrations should be completed by the Friday before the event. Registration will be open right up to the event, but a $10 late registration fee will apply.
- All registrations for events must be done online (mohud.motorsportreg.com) and prior to the event – WALK-UP REGISTRATION is possible under certain circumstances, but is not guaranteed.
- Loaner helmets are available when registering. A head sock/balaclava must be worn with the helmet. Head socks are also available for purchase for $5 at time of registration.
- *** Entrants are no longer required to be members in order to qualify for season trophies.
- *** Street Mod (SM) and Super Street Mod (SSM) are now moving to Prepared & Modified for season championship contention, better reflecting where SCCA classing intended these classes to be grouped.
MOHUD CLASSING NOTES…
New to autocross and not sure what class your car should be in? SCCA offers a tool to quickly help you figure that out if you don’t want to sit down and intensely study the rules. While not perfect, the SCCA Solo Classification Assistant is a very helpful tool. Give it a try, but if you still need help or have questions, reach out to us and we’ll help.
MoHud offers “Pro” and “Novice” PAX classes, in addition to normal PAXing:
- Pro PAX is intended for long-time or heavily experienced MoHud competitors and is meant to allow the top competitors to directly compete against each other, while leaving normal PAX classes (Street/Street Touring/Street Prepared/CAM/Modifed & Prepared) for casual competitors and those competitors who are no longer eligible for Novice PAX class.
- Novice PAX is meant for newcomers to compete with drivers of similar inexperience in autocross. Competitors are only eligible to compete as novices for one autocross season.
If you have any questions about your eligibility for Pro or Novice PAX, please contact the Timing & Scoring Chief, who will be happy to assist you.
Online Registration on MotorsportReg.com. Please look for registration links on https://mohud.motorsportreg.com/ and shared on our Facebook group events once a schedule is set.

Season Points
To qualify for a trophy at the end of the season, you must participate in a majority of events (number TBD when a schedule is posted). Depending on the number of events, we *may* drop an event when calculating season championship points. You do not need to be an SCCA member in order to eligible for season awards, but we encourage and welcome you to join as a member.

Is preregistration required for Sept 20th
autocross event?
Hi,
Yes, pre-registration is required. I’ve added the link to it on the Solo results page, but will include it here as well: http://msreg.com/MoHudSolo2020-Sept20
Thanks,
